The problem
Published cost databases are national averages adjusted by a crude regional multiplier, so they are wrong in any specific market.
Contractors price from memory and from last year's job, so they underbid and lose money, or overbid and lose the job. Material costs have moved violently, and no reference has kept up.

No. It shows the spread rather than just a mean, separates material, labour and equipment with local labour rates, and shows the sample size behind every figure.

Yes, permanently, for contractors who contribute their own job costs. Non-contributors can look at three assemblies in their county for free.
What if I do not want to contribute?
Non-contributing access is 49 dollars a month, with full history and export.
Is there a plan for insurers and lenders?
Yes. 249 dollars a month for insurers, lenders and estimating firms, with API access and multi-region data. Enterprise data licensing is also available.
